Apple's Pixar-like Maps upgrade has arrived in Austin, Texas to help F1 racegoers get around in style, plus Circuit of the Americas has some custom details in time for the Grand Prix.

Apple Maps has been updating F1 tracks around the world as races occur there. It is a part of promoting Apple's ownership of the US streaming rights of F1 using its various services.

The latest track to get special immersive details is the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Apple also took the time to update the rest of Austin with its Detailed City Experience.

Apple has been rolling out the Detailed City Experience to major locations in the United States since 2021. It's been a slow process, but has always been worth the wait when custom art and Pixar-like graphics are added to represent a city.

Visit the racetrack in Apple Maps and you'll see custom art for the track and various nearby attractions, like COTALAND Theme Park. The updated maps aren't just pretty to look at, Apple has worked to ensure information about grandstands, entry gates, rideshare locations, pedestrian walkways, and more are available in the app.

There is also a new Apple Maps Guide on country music singer Dylan Gossett's Austin Spots. Explore the highlighted businesses with their custom 3D artwork among highly detailed streets and foliage.
