Apple is preparing to launch its annual Back to School promotions in the United States. Take a minute after they're revealed to assess before you buy, because they're very rarely blockbuster deals, and other vendors will likely have better ones.
Each summer, Apple joins the rest of retailers by holding Back To School offers. Preparing for the academic year ahead, students and teachers can get some extra money off from their purchases.
While the Education Store pricing discount is helpful, the Back to School promotions often sweeten the deal with steeper discounts or free items.
According to Mark Gurman on X, Apple's retail stores are getting ready to launch the Back to School period. If accurate, Gurman says that the launch will happen during the week of July 13.
As part of the store preparation, they will be setting up a dedicated education table. It will include Macs, iPads, and iPad Pro, all of which usually appear in Back to School offers.
Young Buyer Beware
The offers Apple will produce in its Back to School promotion will be tempting to students and parents alike. Money off Apple products will do that, and so will "free" AirPods, which we've seen in the past.
However, what Apple offers isn't generally the best deal you can get. A little bit of online sleuthing can usually turn up better deals, including some from other retailers doing their own Back to School sales.
AppleInsider will examine the deals landscape to compare Apple's deals with others soon after they go live. We'll let you know what we find.
