Beta 3 for iPadOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, and more now available

Apple has released a new wave of beta updates today, including beta 3 for iPadOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, and more.

Apple releases 26.6 beta 3 updates ahead of expected launch next month

Summer is the one reliable time when Apple runs two beta cycles simultaneously.

This year that includes:

iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and the other major updates launching this fall
iOS 26.6 and companion releases that will launch sooner as minor updates

If you have beta software installed on your devices, there’s a very good chance you’re running the former rather than the latter.

But if you’ve chosen to stick with the 26.6 beta line, Apple has new updates available today.

iPadOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and more have now reached developer beta 3.

Apple typically launches its x.6 software updates in late July. If that proves true again this year, we’ll likely get one or two more betas before the public release.

Unfortunately, these updates are very light on user-facing changes. They seem primarily focused on bug fixes and stability. Perhaps some new features will be revealed next month in the official release notes.
