iPhone Air is $150 off this week, but ‘excellent’ open-box listings are up to $359 off at Best Buy

As part of its now live 2026 Labor Day Sale, Best Buy is delivering the best deal around on brand new unlocked iPhone Air units with just about every model at $150 off the list price. However, you can save even more than that right now with its “excellent” condition open-box units – they are up to $359 off the new list prices. Details below. 

Firstly, here’s how pricing lands on brand new condition units:

These are the best deals we can find on brand new condition unlocked iPhone Air units right now from a reputable retailer. As a quick reminder, Amazon does not carry iPhone Air in new condition. 

But as mentioned above, Best Buy is also delivering these unlocked units in “excellent” open-box condition right now at even lower prices. You can browse through all of the open-box listings on this page via the “More options” link on each model right here, but we have pulled some highlights below at up to $359 off the new list prices:

This 16GB/1TB M5 MacBook Air is $240 off via Apple refurb store (Likely to sell out quick)

This deal likely won’t last long – the official Apple refurb store has had a hard time keeping M5 MacBook Air models in stock as of late (these things sell quick). But you can now land the 16GB/1TB 13-inch configuration at $240 off the new list price. 

The Apple Certified Refurbished Store is now offering the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 1TB SSD down at $1,359 shipped.

This is a regularly $1,599 configuration at $240 off the list price in the sliver colorway. As of right now, it is literally the only M5 MacBook Air you can buy there and we suspect it is going to sell out quickly at a price like this. 

For comparison’s sake, this model is selling for $1,538 at Amazon in brand new condition and has never dropped below $1,419 since the price increases landed at retail.

Best Buy has ‘excellent’ open-box Apple Pencil Pro units down at $77 today (40% off list price)

As part of the Amazon Labor Day sale, we are still tracking an Amazon Resale deal on Apple Pencil Pro down at $74 shipped. However, the Best Buy Labor Day event is now live as well and it has “excellent” condition open-box Apple Pencil Pro units at $76.99 shipped. 

The Amazon Resale option is indeed a few bucks less, but that is also a Like New: Used unit. Amazon’s very best used unit, but still used. 

The Best Buy “excellent” contain open-box unit might be lightly used as well – they are basically returns or in-store units – but Best Buy does say it “looks like new” and includes all parts and accessories. 

All told, they are more than likely going to come in similar condition and are both great ways to secure a regularly $99 to $129 Apple Pencil Pro for a while lot less:

Apple Pencil Pro carries a $129 list price at Apple, but it is more regularly closer to $99, and is now on sale at $97 via Amazon. That said, $99 is effectively the going rate on this thing as it has sold in that range for nearly a year now. 

M6 Mac mini pre-order discounts live at Amazon ahead of delivery this month

Alongside the Labor Day sales now live at Best Buy and Amazon, we are moving closer to delivery day on the all-new M6 Mac mini and M5 Pro model. The only configuration Amazon carries that isn’t seeing some kind of discount right now is the 24GB M6 model. While these deals are clearly not massive by any means, we are talking about brand new Apple gear here that hasn’t even released yet. And if you’re going to be pre-ordering one without a trade-in, you might as well save you a few bucks for gas, coffee, or just to scoop up some of those new Polishing Cloths while they are still available.

iPhone 17 Pro models drop to new Amazon all-time lows again at up to $285 off (Renewed Premium)

Alongside the Labor Day sale at Best Buy with deals on iPhone Air, and Amazon’s massive sale event, we are catching some solid discounts on iPhone 17 Pro as well. While not all color and configs are down quite as low as they were last week, we are now tracking new Amazon all-time low pricing on its best quality Renewed Premium iPhone 17 Pro models at up to $285 off. Apple will unleash the new iPhone 18 Pro models very soon, but you can bet they are going to be a whole lot more expensive than this. 

As I have said previously, Amazon Renewed Premium units are the best way to land a deal on current-generation iPhone units, and especially iPhone 17 Pro right now. Apple does not sell them in the official refurb store, and even once it does, the prices are rarely ever as low as Amazon:

Apple’s most affordable M4 iPad Air is $100 off at Amazon for Labor Day

While we are still tracking the lowest price ever on the latest AirTag 2 and the first discounts on the new M6 Mac mini as part of Amazon’s Labor Day sale, we are also getting some price relief on the most affordable M4 iPad Air too – it is now $100 off. 

Amazon is now offering the 11-inch M4 iPad Air starting down at $649 shipped. Regularly $749, this is $100 off the list price and best we can find right now. 

There have been a few extremely short-lived chances to land this machine for less recently, but those deals have come and gone faster than most folks could have even had a chance to score one. 

The M4 iPad Air lineup, much like the rest of the current MacBook and iPad models, did recently catch a price hike. But with today’s deal, we are, at least, seeing some price relief here in the form for a $100 discount on the least expensive model you can buy. There are some of the much more expensive configs at $150 off right now, like the 1TB 13-inch model at $1,399, but $100 off is a solid price drop for the much less expensive models at this point.
