Disney+ and Hulu just increased prices, here’s how much

Disney+ and Hulu have just rolled out price increases for most subscription plans, here are the details on new pricing.

Disney raises prices for Disney+ and Hulu, with ad-free plans getting biggest increases

Disney has raised prices again on most Disney+ and Hulu streaming plans. The biggest increases hit the ad-free “Premium” plans.

Here’s the new pricing for ad-free plans, effective immediately:

• Disney+ Premium (no ads): $21.49/month
• Hulu+ Premium (no ads): $21.49/month
• Disney+/Hulu Premium Bundle: $21.99/month

These are increases of about two dollars per month compared to the old pricing. Disney+ and Hulu Premium each formerly cost $18.99/month, and the bundle was $19.99.

Ad-supported plans aren’t exempt from today’s increases. They’re just not getting hit as hard.

Here’s the new pricing for ad-supported plans:

• Disney+ (with ads): $12.49/month
• Hulu (with ads): $12.49/month

Previously, Disney+ and Hulu cost $11.99 each, so the increase is only $.50/month. The bundle pricing for Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) remains $12.99/month as before.

In all these cases, Disney is clearly pushing users to the Disney+/Hulu bundle more than ever. By making it only $.50 more expensive than each standalone service, it’s hard to justify only subscribing to one service.
