Apple is widely expected to raise iPhone prices when the iPhone 18 Pro launches next month. But a new rumor suggests the iPhone 17 might get a price increase as early as next week.
Apple might raise iPhone 17 prices on Monday, August 10

Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital, in a new post today, says that “rumors are circulating that the iPhone 17 will increase in price on August 10.”
Price increases for the iPhone on Monday, August 10 would be surprising—but certainly not out of the question.
When Apple introduced price increases for many of its products earlier in the summer, the iPhone was spared.
It was assumed that we’d see increases in September, when new iPhones debut. But now, it sounds like prices might change even sooner.
There’s no direct source mentioned for this rumor, other than the leaker saying “rumors are circulating.” Fixed Focus Digital has a track record of being well connected, lending a little more credibility to the post.
If Apple does intend to change the prices of iPhone models that will be sticking around through the end of the year, like iPhone 17, perhaps it’s determined there’s no reason to wait until September to revise prices.
The question is: will all iPhone 17 models get higher prices, or just select ones?
