Every new detail learned about iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max helps paint a broader understanding of where these devices stand in Apple's lineup. Your hosts discuss this and more on the AppleInsider Podcast.
Apple has finally released the OS 27 updates to the public, and with them, Siri AI. Developers are updating their apps for the new systems, so there is a lot to dig through now that it is all available.
Meanwhile, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max got some early impressions prior to them shipping on Friday. The variable aperture is an interesting and useful tool, but likely won't make much difference in most shooting situations.
The Apple Watch upgrades are also fairly useful and much bigger in scope compared to the iPhone 18 Pro. Larger sensors, more heart rate samples, and Audio Intelligence make Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12 very compelling upgrades.
Also, your hosts discuss more findings surrounding the iPhone Duo camera system, the compromises Apple did and didn't make for that device, and how it fits into the ecosystem. It's going to be another month before iPhone Duo launches, so there will be time to break things down even further.
