Apple’s first foldable and its most expensive iPhone to date, the iPhone Duo, is now on sale.
If you placed your preorder early and secured a launch-day delivery slot, your unit should arrive today. Or if you are camping outside your nearest Apple Store, you might be able to pick up a Duo when it opens — depending on where you live.
Apple’s first foldable is now on sale
The iPhone Duo launches today, October 23, in more than 70 countries and regions, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, China, and Japan. Its availability will expand to another 28 countries and regions a week from now, on October 30.
Customers in Australia and New Zealand are among the first to get their hands on the iPhone Duo, with many sharing photos and early impressions on X. In many countries, Apple stores will open early at 8 am local time to cater to customers queued up outside their stores overnight and walk-ins.
Given the high demand and limited supply, getting your hands on the iPhone Duo could still require some patience. And if you missed out on a launch day preorder, don’t assume you can walk into a store and get your hands on an iPhone Duo today.
Limited stock everywhere
Apple already confirmed that stores in select countries will have limited stock for walk-in customers, including those in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, and the UK. And whatever stock is available, expect it to sell out quickly due to extraordinary demand.
If you order the iPhone Duo online now, you will be in for a very long wait. Shipping estimates for the foldable have slipped to as far back as late January 2027.
iPhone Duo is all about that folding screen
The iPhone Duo’s main highlight is its folding form factor. Unfolding the phone reveals a 7.6-inch screen, giving ample space to run two apps side by side. The screen features a nano-texture finish to cut down on reflections and glare.
On the outside, the foldable houses a 5.4-inch screen. On the outside, the foldable houses a 5.4-inch screen.
Inside, there’s an A20 Pro chip paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. The Duo’s rear houses a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultrawide.
The iPhone Duo is Apple’s most expensive iPhone yet, with prices starting from $1,999 for 256 GB of storage and going up to a whopping $3,199 for the top-end 2 TB model.
