Apple has continued its Apple Music rebrand, bringing a new black-and-white icon and revamped user interface to its Apple Music Classical app for iPhone and iPad.

The new update follows a larger rebrand that has removed the familiar red coloring from Apple Music's icon and marketing materials. It also used the new design identity when unveiling Apple Music Hall in Battersea, London.

Alongside the removal of red as a base color, the new look includes blue accents throughout. This even extends to the use of blue links rather than the traditional red ones that users are more accustomed to.

Notably, Apple's release notes do not mention the new look. Instead, they simply point to improvements to the app's stability and performance.

Apple Music Classical streams music in much the same way as the standard Music app, but with adjustments made to better accommodate classical works. Classical music doesn't always fit into the traditional album-based framework of most music apps, something the Apple Music Classical app counters with a bespoke design.

The newly updated app builds on the previous Liquid Glass update that arrived alongside iOS 26 in 2025. It now more closely matches the rest of Apple's first-party offerings, especially Apple Music.

The newly updated app is available for download from the App Store now. Apple Music Classical is included as part of the Apple Music subscription at no extra cost, and has its own apps across Apple's platforms.
