While the HomeView home hub will be the headline device, Apple's "Welcome Home" event will finally debut the new Apple TV set-top box, and a refreshed HomePod mini.

On October 13, 2026 Apple is expected to launch a major push into the smart home market with what's to be called the HomeView. Now Bloomberg claims that, as expected, there will be new versions of the HomePod mini and Apple TV.

Specifically, the report backs up previous rumors regarding the HomePod mini refresh. It says that this will come in a new series of colors, and feature an S10 processor for faster performance.

Those colors have previously been reported to include powder pink and forest green for the first time. Previous colors blue, black, and white, will also be available.

Then a new update to the languishing Apple TV 4K will see it get a new processor. However, it is said to be the not-Pro version of the A19 rather than the expected A20 Pro.

This new Apple TV will reportedly also come with microphones so that users can talk to Siri without a HomePod or the Siri Remote. Then a revised Siri remote is said to come with a speaker to help with finding it.

The new HomePod mini and Apple TV are due to be in stores and shipping on October 30.
