Preorders are open for Apple's latest iPad mini, iMac, and MacBook Pro models, with all of the new devices arriving in stores Friday, November 6.

Customers in the United States can place orders through Apple's website or the Apple Store app. The new hardware includes an OLED iPad mini, an M6-powered iMac, and two MacBook Pro updates with different processors and displays.

OLED iPad mini gets a bigger screen and a new design

Apple's eighth-generation iPad mini replaces its LCD screen with an 8.5-inch OLED display, bringing deeper blacks and higher contrast to the company's smallest tablet. As reported Monday, Apple has also narrowed the bezels, reduced the enclosure to 5.4 mm thick, and added IP67 water and dust resistance.

The A20 Pro chip powers the tablet, which also gains Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, faster charging, and a 12MP Center Stage camera positioned for landscape video calls. Pricing starts at $699 for a Wi-Fi model with 128GB of storage, while cellular configurations begin at $849.

Buyers can choose between midnight and starlight finishes, with storage options reaching 512GB. Apple also offers a new TechWoven Smart Folio for $79, and customers can find the available configurations on its preorder page.

M6 iMac gets faster without changing its looks

The 24-inch iMac has received its first processor upgrade since 2024, replacing M4 with Apple's new M6 chip. According to Apple's performance claims, the updated desktop delivers up to five times faster on-device AI performance than the previous generation.

Apple hasn't changed much about the iMac's appearance, keeping its 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and familiar all-in-one design. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 are new, while the desktop remains available in blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange, and silver.

Prices start at $1,499 for an M6 configuration with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU. A higher-end configuration with a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU starts at $1,699, with both options listed on Apple's product page.

Two different MacBook Pro upgrades are available to preorder

MacBook Pro buyers have two updates to choose from, and the less expensive model actually gets Apple's newer processor. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 starts at $1,999, retaining its Liquid Retina XDR display while adding faster processing, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.

Apple announced the standard M6 model on Tuesday, as detailed in our earlier coverage. The laptop keeps the familiar MacBook Pro design, with additional configurations and specifications available through Apple's product overview.

The bigger change arrived Wednesday, when Apple introduced its first touchscreen MacBook Pro. According to the company's official announcement, the redesigned laptop uses a tandem OLED display that supports touch input, ProMotion refresh rates up to 120Hz, and peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

Available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, the redesigned MacBook Pro replaces the traditional display notch with Dynamic Island. Apple has also made the enclosure thinner and lighter, with a revised hinge designed to keep the screen stable during touch interactions.

The touchscreen models use M5 Pro and M5 Max processors rather than M6, giving buyers a choice between Apple's newer standard chip and its higher-performance professional options. The 14-inch model starts at $2,899 with M5 Pro, while the 16-inch version starts at $3,399.

M5 Max configurations start at $4,499 for the 14-inch model and $4,799 for the 16-inch version. Both sizes are available to preorder through Apple's product page, with deliveries and retail availability beginning Friday, November 6.
