I love my Apple Watch. I have owned one since the original Series 0 was released back in 2015. In that span, I have probably missed 10 days without wearing an Apple Watch, so I could argue that it is my most-used Apple product of all time.
I use it to track workouts, track my health, track my sleep, as an extension of my iPhone, and it has just become a part of my daily routine. One of my favorite things about the Apple Watch is its accessories ecosystem, from bands to chargers to cases and everything in between. So here are some of my favorite Apple Watch accessories that I keep going back to.
There are thousands, if not millions, of different bands out there in all types of variations. You can choose different materials, sizes, and price points, and some bands even have additional tech built in. And the beauty of the Apple Watch is that the band mechanism has never changed. Meaning that a band you bought in 2015 will work with the latest Apple Watch Ultra 3. But there are two bands that I consistently go back to.
This is my go-to band for anything workout-related. I tend to sweat a lot, so I avoid fabric bands since they can easily just retain the sweat and eventually get pretty nasty. The Tempo band is made of FKM rubber, is fully waterproof, lightweight, and looks great. It comes in six color varieties, with my favorite being Tidal. It has a pastel blue look, which I love. It uses the traditional pin-and-tuck closure system, similar to Apple’s bands.
You can find them on Amazon or Nomad’s site for $59. Nomad is known for its high-quality, premium materials, so you know this will last for years.
For a higher-end, more polished look, I like using Kuxiu’s Titanium Silk Band. It looks and feels very similar to Apple’s Milanese Loop band, but at a much more competitive price point. The band is made of titanium; it remains lightweight at just 28g, features a strong, satisfying magnetic clasp, and is easy to adjust. It also comes in two color variations that perfectly color-match the two Apple Watch Ultra options: Black and Natural Titanium. You can get the Silk band from Kuxiu’s site for $67.
With these two bands, I can cover 99% of all my use cases and scenarios with my Apple Watch Ultra. The Tempo is my everyday workout band, and the Kuxiu Silk Band can also be an everyday band that can be dressed up a bit.
Charging & power
The main gripe people have with the Apple Watch is battery life. Whether you have an Apple Watch SE that gives you 18 hours of “all day” battery life or the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with up to 72 hours of low power mode battery life, the idea of running out of battery is always on my mind. So I like to have fast-charging options for all my scenarios, starting with a simple, dedicated Apple Watch charger.
This is a no-frills, reliable Apple Watch charger from Kuxiu. I like to bring this one with me on the go, but I also keep it in my bathroom because that is usually when I remove my watch to charge it. I wanted something that was well-built, competitively priced, fast-charging, and compatible with any Apple Watch band. The X61 gives you:

- Qi2 magnetic charger for iPhone up to 15W
- Built-in USB-C cable with up to 35W input and output
- An additional USB-C port that can output up to 30W
Technically, this lets you charge up to four devices at once, so it’s great for weekend travel. I normally bring this with me as my only charger when I’m staying at a hotel for one night or away from my office for 24 hours.

If you are looking for a more traditional nightstand or desktop charger, this has been one of my go-to recommendations. As the name suggests, it can fast-charge all three of your main devices, and the build quality is fantastic. You get:
- Qi2 charging delivers up to 25W for iPhone
- Fast-charges an Apple Watch at up to 5W and AirPods at up to 5W
- Includes a 45W USB-C adapter and international plugs
I personally use this as my nightstand charger. It has been reliable, silent, simple to use, and fits my overall aesthetic. It’s also amazing that it brings the 45W brick in the box! It is currently on sale on Amazon for $103, down from $129.
Miscellaneous accessories
I wanted to include two accessories that are just different and fun to have. The first is the A01 Titanium Case by Aulumu. There are cases for your Apple Watch for protection, but this takes it to a whole new level by transforming the entire look of the Apple Watch Ultra. The A01 is an aerospace-grade titanium cover that makes your Apple Watch Ultra a tank. It’s rugged and protective, and it also gives it an awesome, unique look. If you don’t mind a big watch on your wrist and want to really change up the look, this is worth considering.
My last mention has to be the Spigen C1 Apple Watch stand. This is the best gift you can give to any techy. It turns the Apple Watch charging puck into a mini iMac G3, complete with translucent colors and retro styling. It comes in all the traditional colors, but I had to go with the Bondi blue. One thing to note: this is just the housing; it does not include the charging puck. But for $16 on Amazon, this is a no-brainer.
Final thoughts
As I stated, the Apple Watch has to be my most-used product. On its own, it’s already incredibly useful in so many ways. But I wanted to share some accessories I have used over the years that I keep coming back to because they solve a problem or are just a cool addition to your watch. Let me know what you think!
