The first images of what could be smart home accessories co-developed by Apple and LG have surfaced, showing the simple designs of a smart deadbolt, thermostat, and temperature sensor.

On Tuesday, a report surfaced claiming Apple and LG worked together on a selection of smart home devices. The list of hardware revealed at the time included a smart deadbolt lock and a trio of cameras.

However, on Wednesday, leaker account @pdfu on X posted a number of images and animations for smart home devices. It claims the three posts are for the LG smart home devices.

The first is the LG Smart Deadbolt Lock, which is shown in two parts. The front keypad is said to rotate to open, with a swivel pin used to limit the rotation.

It also allegedly has settings for the touchpad light ring, a lock sound volume, and a "door left audio alarm," which may be a warning if the door is left unlocked or open.

The unit also allegedly supports automatic unlocking, tap to unlock, master codes, and its two mechanical keys. It will also have an emergency power capability.

The LG Smart Thermostat is a circular device with a large central display showing the temperature. On the edges are options to control the temperature level.

It is said to have settings for Far Sight Display as well as humidity, brightness, and temperature offsets.

Lastly, the LG Temperature Sensor will be able to detect the temperature as well as the humidity of a room. It has a replaceable battery, complete with alerts when it needs to be changed.

The white puck will have a magnetic back to attach to metal surfaces and will come supplied with a glue-backed metal plate. This is interesting, as Apple's Home Hub is believed to ship in a version that attaches to surfaces by magnetism.

As rumored on Tuesday, the Apple-LG device lineup also allegedly includes an indoor security camera, an outdoor security camera, and a floodlight camera.

It is thought that, much like the LG UltraFine Display that was an Apple-LG collaboration, the smart home accessories will be introduced solely under the LG brand.

A release date for the LG device collection is expected to arrive in early 2027.

It's not the only Apple smart home product changes on the horizon. Apple has its own privacy-centric smart home camera waiting in the wings, as well as changes to the Apple TV 4K, the HomePod mini, and a new Home Hub.
