A new rumor sets the exact date and products we can expect for Apple to reveal in late October, which includes the long-awaited touchscreen MacBook Pro.

A previous rumor already set the table for a second October event in the last week of the month. All bets are on M6 Macs and the new iPad mini, but the latest rumor is a little more definitive.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple will announce the touchscreen MacBook Pro and the iPad mini with OLED on October 27. It's a date that lines up with previous fall Apple Events, like the "Scary Fast" event that brought us the M3 iMac.

Apple is also expected to reveal the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 processor. It's the new base model after Apple retired the 13-inch MacBook Pro previously.

An M6 iMac update is also possible alongside these long-rumored products.

The touchscreen MacBook Pro is rumored to be lighter than existing models and have OLED displays. Apple could also debut the Dynamic Island in these MacBook models.

The iPad mini is expected to have a new landscape-oriented FaceTime camera.

The late October event will follow the Apple Home-focused event coming on October 13, which will reveal the Home Hub tablet. It's a busy October for Apple, which will also include the iPhone Duo's launch.
