Popular iPhone accessory maker Ugreen is entering the smart home segment, but with a twist. Instead of relying on the cloud, it’s launching a HomeAgent that will run AI models locally to keep your data private.
The lineup consists of the HomeAgent and the SynCare series of smart cameras.
Ugreen wants to keep your smart home AI off the cloud
Apple plans to make a big push in smart home with iOS 27 and the launch of several smart home products in the coming months. iOS 27 will also enable HomeKit-compatible smart cameras to use AI to deliver a better experience.
Ugreen plans to offer a similar experience with its smart home lineup, but with local AI. The star of the show is the HomeAgent A100, which will act as the brain of your smart home. It will unify your smart home cameras, storage devices and computing into a single system.
HomeAgent can recognize people, vehicles, pets and packages in camera footage. It can also summarize recorded events, flag unusual activity and let you search for a specific moment using keywords instead of manually scrubbing through a timeline.
Ugreen says you will be able to control the system using natural spoken commands. For example, you could ask HomeAgent what happened while you were away, create an alert for a crying baby or package delivery, or activate several smart home devices with a single phrase.
The company also says the hub can connect compatible third-party devices, although it has not yet detailed the full extent of that support.

Because HomeAgent stores footage and processes AI tasks locally, it can continue working without an internet connection. More importantly, there are no recurring subscription fees.
Ugreen HomeAgent lineup will comprise multiple models: the HA100, HA100 Pro and MA100. The standard HA100 offers 16GB of memory, 26 TOPS of advertised AI performance and 2.5Gb Ethernet. It contains two NAS drive bays, a dedicated NVR drive bay for security footage and an M.2 NVMe slot.
HA100 Pro steps up to 32GB of memory, 10Gb Ethernet and a claimed 205 TOPS of AI performance. Ugreen says the additional power will enable more advanced features, including understanding context, interpreting movement and behavior, and creating smart home rules through voice commands.
The HomeAgent supports Matter, so it will also work with all your existing Matter-compatible smart home devices.
Ugreen will launch its HomeAgent Kickstarter campaign on October 27, 2026. Until then, customers can place a $50 preorder through the Ugreen AIoT official store and secure a 50% Super Early Bird discount.
This lowers the HA100 from $1,799 to $899 and the HA100 Pro from $5,999 to $2,999.

Ugreen’s SynCare cameras put local AI to work

Alongside the HomeAgent, Ugreen announced its SynCare series of cameras. This includes the ID500 Pro indoor camera, OD600 Pro outdoor camera and the OD800 Pro battery camera with a solar panel.
The ID500 Pro records in 4K and supports pan-and-tilt control, baby-crying alerts and a physical privacy shutter. The OD600 Pro combines a fixed 4K camera with two additional 5MP cameras and offers up to 9x hybrid zoom. It can connect over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and supports Power over Ethernet.
The wire-free OD800 Pro uses a detachable 10,000mAh battery and comes with a 6-watt solar panel. It also combines radar and PIR sensing to reduce false motion alerts. Certain AI features across all three cameras will require a HomeAgent hub.
The ID500 Pro, OD600 Pro and OD800 Pro will cost $89, $159 and $199, respectively. Like the HomeAgent series, you can preorder them through Ugreen’s website until late October to secure a 50% discount. Otherwise, if you back the Kickstarter campaign without preordering, you will receive a 40% discount.
