Apple has launched a slew of new devices, and many of them start shipping on November 6. That date is going to be a good one to go check out an Apple Store, as depending on what you've pre-ordered, there may not be much reason to wait.
As ever, the devil is in the details of what precise configuration you've ordered. But, for instance, adding a nanotexture display to a MacBook Pro or an iPad will add delays.
iPhone Duo
There's actually some good news about iPhone Duo shipping dates, although don't get excited. Where up to very recently an order placed today would see delivery on January 25, 2027, it's currently showing as January 22.

That's for either color of the device, but also for the base configuration. All of the dates here are for the base models, except where certain features are only available with specific models.
Mac Studio
For instance, the latest Mac Studio has been out for some months and if you order many of the possible configurations today, they could be right in stock and ready to ship. That's the case with the M5 Max processor.
For the M5 Ultra edition, shipping is currently in 7 to 8 weeks' time.
Apple did finally announce a new configuration that is an M5 Ultra Mac Studio with 512GB RAM. That's currently due to ship in 10-12 weeks, in January 2027.
MacBook Pro
If you ordered the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 processor when it was announced on October 27, you may have had cause to regret it on October 28 when the touch-screen tandem-OLED display version was launched.
That's especially because both the touch and non-touch 14-inch MacBook Pro are shipping on November 6.
This is still the case if you choose the nanotexture display option on the 14-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED. But it isn't if you go for nanotexture on the display of the 16-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED.
In that case, just selecting the nanotexture option pushes shipping back an entire day. Delivery will be on November 7 instead of November 6.
Things are a little more complicated with the non-touch 14-inch MacBook Pro. Apple does still list most versions as shipping on November 6, but if you order silver with a nanotexture display, Apple is quoting 7-10 business days.
However, if you order the Space Black edition with nanotexture, things are very different. Placing such an order today gets you a quoted delivery date of between three and four weeks.
iMac
At least the iMac is easier. Pre-orders are open now and shipping will be on November 6.

For now at least, you can pick any configuration of color, storage, and RAM, and there will be no delay.
iPad mini
Back to the complexity and the delays we go. If you order the base 128GB iPad mini, you're fine, it'll arrive on November 6.
The new iPad mini sees delays if you want both a nanotexture display and cellular- image credit: Apple
That's the case whether you go for the Wi-FI-only or Wi-Fi plus Cellular model at 128GB. If you go for 256GB, though, you get the option of a nanotexture display and that can add delays.
Oddly, if you choose nanotexture glass, you still get it on November 6 unless you also specify that you want the cellular model. Then your delivery time is two to three weeks.
HomeView
The HomeView has perhaps been a little drowned out by all of the launches, but it's still had an impact. Originally due to ship on November 13, the table version of HomeView is mostly now back-ordered three to four weeks.
There is an exception, though, as at time of writing the rose pink version of this model remains due to ship on November 13.
So does the wall-mounted HomeView, though, in either of its colors and all of its available mounting options. Apple is now saying that there's a Schneider Home Power Mount PoE Wired option coming, but it doesn't say when.
Buying in Apple Stores
If we've learned anything from the iPhone Duo's success, it is that it can still be worth going to an Apple Stores on the first day a device is due out. You'll definitely get to see and try one, for example.
It's more likely that you'll be able to buy any of these devices other than the iPhone Duo, too. But it is always the case that Apple Stores tend to stock the versions that will sell the fastest, which usually means the base model.
So if you want to buy a Mac Studio configured with 512GB RAM for an extra $15,500, you'll have to just order online and wait it out.
