Apple Music's new "Widow's Bay" playlist lasts so long that it can outlive the entire first season several times over.
Apple Music has published "Patricia's Sunset Cocktails Playlist", a collection inspired by the world of "Widow's Bay." While the playlist page doesn't prominently advertise its size, scrolling to the bottom reveals 811 songs with a total runtime of 60 hours and 32 minutes in the US version of Apple Music.
"Widow's Bay" follows a small coastal town whose residents become entangled in a series of strange events and long-buried secrets. Patricia's bar serves as one of the community's gathering places.
The playlist pulls from a wide range of artists, including David Bowie, Donna Summer, Pat Benatar, Kylie Minogue, Kim Wilde, Pulp, Talk Talk, and Erasure. The mix spans decades of pop, rock, dance, and new wave music.
The first season of "Widow's Bay" consists of 10 episodes that generally run between 37 and 41 minutes. That puts the season at roughly 370 to 410 minutes, or about six to seven hours in total.
