YouTube Premium is already one of the best value-for-money subscriptions on the market. And it will soon get even better, with eligible YouTube Premium subscribers gaining access to Peacock Premium for free.

The bundle will be limited to YouTube Premium subscribers in the US.

This free Peacock bundle makes YouTube Premium hard to beat

After recent price hikes, YouTube Premium’s individual subscription costs $15.99 per month in the US. The Family plan comes in at $26.99/month. Besides ad-free viewing on YouTube, the Premium plan also unlocks access to ad-free music streaming on YouTube Music.

YouTube is now making its Premium subscription even more attractive by bundling Peacock Premium for free. In a blog post, YouTube announced that it’s expanding its partnership with NBCUniversal across YouTube and YouTube TV.

As part of this, eligible YouTube Premium subscribers in the US can enjoy ad-supported Peacock Premium for free.

The ad-supported Peacock Premium plan costs $10.99/month. So, gaining free access to it through YouTube Premium will make the latter subscription even more attractive.

Do note that free access is only available with YouTube Premium, not the cheaper YouTube Music or Premium Lite plans.

YouTube will also offer international bundles and give subscribers the option to upgrade their Peacock membership.

Select live sporting events will stream on YouTube

YouTube is not the first one to offer an attractive Peacock Premium bundle. There’s a Peacock bundle that Apple TV users can subscribe to by paying only an extra $2.

Lastly, NBCUniversal will stream select live sporting events on the NBC Sports YouTube channel.

YouTube says it will share more details and official launch dates with YouTube Premium subscribers about their free access to Peacock Premium “over the coming months.”
