iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders start tomorrow, and you can “Get Ready” by making your selections in advance via the online Apple Store. Here’s the deadline for when those decisions need to be locked in ahead of pre-orders opening.

You can speed through iPhone 18 Pro pre-order line by making your selections in advance

This weekend, Apple launches pre-orders for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

Typically pre-orders start the Friday after an iPhone unveiling. But this year, likely due to today being 9/11, Apple pushed pre-orders back a day.

iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders begin Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT.

If you want to ensure the fastest possible pre-order, Apple lets you ‘Get Ready’ in advance.

Inside the Apple Store app or on Apple’s website, you can choose the ‘Get Ready’ button to make your iPhone selections ahead of the official pre-order time.

By doing this, you’ll speed up the process of completing the pre-order Saturday morning.

But there’s a cutoff time for this quicker pre-order option. Per Apple:

Customers have until 9 [p.m.] PT on Friday, September 11, to bypass the morning rush by selecting their model, pairing accessories, securing leasing or financing pre-approval, and setting up their trade-in.

Currently Apple’s press release actually says “9 a.m. PT” instead of “p.m.,” but that appears to be an error. Last year the cutoff time was 9 p.m., and currently it’s already past 9 a.m. PT and the ‘Get Ready’ option is still available. Additionally, the press release didn’t even go live until 9 a.m. PT, another sign that it should say “p.m.” instead.

So if you want to ensure your iPhone 18 Pro pre-order process goes as quickly and smoothly as possible, make your selections before 9:00 p.m. PT tonight.
