The Apple Store at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is getting an upgrade. It's set to shift over to a larger space in the same mall at the end of July.
The Apple Briarwood store is one of the smallest outlets in Apple's retail empire. However, that will soon change for the better.
In Sunday's "Power On" newsletter for Bloomberg, Mark Gurman writes that the Briarwood Mall store is getting a major upgrade. It will be changing its spot to a larger space within the same shopping center.
Gurman adds that the shift will start as early as the end of July. While details of the new location were not revealed, it will apparently be a much larger space.
Apple's image of the Briarwood store shows it is a very simple box following the usual mall style it uses around the world. There are just four tables down the length of the space, along with a Genius Bar at the end and a selection of shelves.
Despite being so small, it's apparently a highly trafficked storefront. Close to the University of Michigan, it is claimed to get a lot of business from nearby students.
