Siri AI was unveiled in June for most Apple platforms—but Apple TV and HomePod missed out. A new leak, however, points to tvOS 27 including Siri AI after all.
Apple touted ‘One Siri’ at WWDC, but tvOS and HomePod were left out

When Apple finally revealed its AI version of Siri earlier this summer, it touted a ground-up overhaul that would be consistent across your devices.
David Clark, Apple’s senior director of watchOS software engineering, explained to TechRadar:
“We really wanted to make sure the Siri experience is a singular and consistent experience, whether I decide to ask Siri on my wrist a question, or whether I have my phone in my hand and I decide to interact with Siri there. We really wanted to feel like it’s one Siri, that has access to your data and is able to personalise it in a consistent way.”
“One Siri” is something many users have wanted from Apple for years. It’s frustrating when you ask Siri to do something, and it tells you to ask it on a different device instead.
But missing from this claim of a unified Siri experience was any announcement for Apple TV 4K or HomePod. These products were almost entirely absent from WWDC, with only a handful of features mentioned.
I’ve long assumed that Siri AI will come to Apple TV and HomePod this fall, but Apple can’t announce it yet because it will be exclusive to unreleased hardware.
And now, new evidence in tvOS 27 seemingly confirms that—at least for Apple TV.
tvOS 27 lists Siri AI’s codename under Device Hub’s apps list

When running Device Hub via Xcode in macOS 27, the Apps list for tvOS 27 has a new addition: Siri.
The Siri entry features a ‘com.apple.campo’ string. Prior reporting indicates ‘campos’ is Apple’s internal codename for Siri AI.
Comparing app lists for tvOS 26 and tvOS 27 simulator modes confirms that ‘Siri’ is not present in tvOS 26’s list. It’s new with tvOS 27.
This addition, combined with the ‘campo’ reference, strongly suggests that Siri AI will debut in tvOS 27 this fall. It might even come with a dedicated Siri app on Apple TV—though that’s not guaranteed, as the ‘Apps’ list includes system functions beyond just user-facing apps.

When trying to open ‘Campo.app’ in Device Hub, an error message appears:
Denying open-application request for reason: Disabled (App ‘com.apple.campo’ is not enabled)
There are no further details offered. So we don’t know, for example, if any of Siri AI’s new features will make it to existing hardware or not.
But at this point, it seems a safe bet to assume Siri AI will be a primary selling point Apple uses to promote its new Apple TV 4K hardware.
